The place to get your questions about college answered.
Clues for College shares resources online to help navigate the college process and journey. All of the resources have been developed by experts in the field, using evidence-based practices, and over a decade of experience in higher education.
The idea for Clues for College began from Dr. W.'s research. Dr. W. has spent over a decade working with first-generation college students, students who are the first in their families to attend college. One common thing she found in her research was the large amount of time students spent "figuring college out." This meant figuring out majors, looking for information about processes (ex. registering for classes, how to fill out FAFSA), and how to effectively study for their classes. The time that students spend "figuring college out" takes away time from successfully working on their classes, spending time with their family, networking with potential employers, or taking a mental health break. The consequences of this include accumulating more college debt, dissatisfaction with the college process, and delays in completing the degrees to start a career.
Clues for College supports students by helping them "figure college out." The resources to complete a degree can be found here. The key areas of focus include the college process, study skills, reviewing options after college, choosing a major, and support for English Language Learners.
We "figured college out" so that you can successfully navigate your college journey.
